Marcie Cleary is a partner in the Entertainment Group at Frankfurt Kurnit.
Ms. Cleary structures and negotiates entertainment transactions for individual and corporate clients in the film, television, digital, and book publishing industries. Her clients include actors, news correspondents, writers, directors, producers, authors, podcasters and influencers.
Ms. Cleary is recognized by The Hollywood Reporter in its 2021 Power Lawyers list of the Top 20 Entertainment Lawyers in New York. She is recognized by Variety in its 2021 Dealmakers Impact Report and in Variety’s 2022, 2021, and 2020 Legal Impact Report.
Ms. Cleary is a graduate of NYU (BA) and Yale Law School (JD).
Erica Lancaster is an agent in the television department at CAA. She comes to CAA from Broadway Video, where she served as a development executive.
Prior to that, Ms. Lancaster was an associate producer on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.” Ms. Lancaster has also held staff positions at “Saturday Night Live” and “The Late Show With David Letterman.”
She is based in CAA’s New York office.
Trey Witter is a manager and producer at 3 Arts Entertainment. Prior to his role at 3 Arts, Trey was at Authentic Talent and Literary Management. He also held previous roles as assistant at A3 and Scott Rudin Productions.
A native of New York, Trey splits time between New York, Los Angeles, and Atlanta. He represents literary (Directors & Writers) and talent clients with an indie sensibility. He is drawn to ambitious clients trying to break into the mainstream.
Trey is also a New York-barred entertainment attorney.
Kerry is a writer, actress, and stand-up comedian. She's the co-head writer and Co-EP of Yvonne Orji's new variety special on HBO. She most recently wrote in the mini-room of GET THE GETT for Showtime. Before that, she wrapped writing on Season 2 of FLATBUSH MISDEMEANORS for Showtime, where she is also a recurring guest star.
On screen, KERRY has appeared in Hulu's RAMY, HBO's CRASHING and was a core cast member of THE ILIZA SCHLESINGER SKETCH SHOW on Netflix. She was a regular on Comedy Central's THE NIGHTLY SHOW WITH LARRY WILMORE and MTV’s JOKING OFF. She can also be seen on HBO's PAUSE WITH SAM JAY and BET's THE RUNDOWN WITH ROBIN THEDE.
She is currently developing a pilot based on her experiences with Robin Thede producing.
Krystal Stark is the New York Director of Programming for Diverse Representation and the owner of Stark White Entertainment, a production and talent management company based in New York City. Krystal specializes in developing and producing projects for film, TV and stage. She's currently developing a project with Warner Brothers Studios and previously produced a stand-up tv special on Comedy Central. Krystal’s clients have appeared on networks including Showtime, Comedy Central, BET, MTV, HBO, FOX, Bravo, VH1, and truTV. She sits on the board of the Hollywood Radio and Television Society (HRTS).
Jaia Thomas is the Founder/CEO of Diverse Representation. Founded in 2018, the goal of Diverse Representation is to increase the hiring and exposure of Black agents, attorneys, managers, and publicists in the sports and entertainment industries.
Jaia is also a sports and entertainment attorney with over fifteen years of experience. Her day-to-day consists of structuring, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating an array of agreements relating to the production, distribution, and licensing of television, film, and digital content. She also represents current and retired professional athletes with various entertainment and technology ventures.
A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jaia is a graduate of Colgate University (BA) and The George Washington University Law School (JD).
